July 4, 2011
We were invited to a crawfish boil. A first for me. Parker and I tried our first crawfish. To my surprise it was yummy. So was the corn and sausage! A great tasting experience.
Paxson stuck with bread, cheese, and applesauce! Not much of as risk taker when it comes to food. :)

GraceLynn's 4th of July attire thanks to Gigi. The bow will be worn for years to come. The onsie uhhhh I am pretty sure she has already nearly outgrown it. :)
We spent the day packing and swimming and simply relaxing. Parker lost his first tooth. He jumped in the pool tackling Casey and hit his mouth on Casey's shoulder. Easy as that. :)
Then a few minutes late I noticed that Gracie's first tooth came through! What a day!
Leading up to July 4th...
Preparing yummy treats for July 4th.
Paxson explaining that he gets all the pineapples!
Of course we had to taste test a little while we were preparing the fruit!
Heading out the door for church!
Taking in a little sun
GraceLynn sporting her cowgirl hat. Every
Gigi, Gammer, and Jo Jo came down to keep the kids while I went to a workshop! It was a great visit.
I love Gracie's reaction in this shot. She love blowing bubbles!!!!!!
Gammer and Jo Jo watched Gracie while I cooked dinner. Gigi entertained the boys in the pool and kept them occupied. She seems to always end up with the hardest jobs. hahha :)
We ended the day with great food, drinks, desserts, and conversation!

Just a little bragging...
This area was previously covered with lava rock! YUCK and ugh!! After removing all the lava rock he laid sod. (Which is greatly contributing to our water bill ouch!!!!) But it is beautiful and so so much nicer than all the lava rock.

My sweet hubby has turned into quite the gardner! He has alwyas enjoyed and appreicated nature. He has taught me to appreiacte and respect the beauty nature offers. Over the past few years he has really "gotten into" planting. I am amazed at all he has learned and transformed. Here are a few pictures recently taken. There is so much more I would love to share but pictures simply do not do justice. So come and stay with us and enjoy the beauty! :)
