Ingenuity...

This is what I found when I walked into the kitchen. We were all getting ready for church when Paxson carried a brand new block of cheddar cheese up stairs to Gracie's room and asked for a piece. I told him I would be done in just a minute and I would cut him slice. I also asked him to go put it back in the fridge. I finished dressing Gracie and went downstairs. This is what I found...

A block of cheese opened with a butter knife stuck in the top, scissors stuck in the side, and the package torn and cut into many little pieces laying on the floor. I gasped and recollected myself, Casey came running and I winked and we asked if we could help him a little. Such a special camera moment. I thought back to when he carried the carton of eggs upstairs and woke me up asking me to make him eggs. It also reminded of when Parker was 20 months old I awoke to him making his own waffle. He had pushed a chair up to the microwave, climbed on the cabinet to get a plate, put the plate and waffle in the microwave, and cooked it well! He had the syrup sitting on the table with a knife and fork! I must say my boys are independent creative self starters. LOL
