An Imprpmptu Egg Hunt

A very sweet parent/friend of mine invited us to an impromptu Egg Hunt Saturday evening. We had a fabulous time! Her youngest son Bryant is in my class and I have gotten to know their family pretty well this year. She is one of those amazingly involved moms, so the fact that she was willing to put this event together and invite our family meant a great deal to us! Their yard is beautiful and perfect for entertaining. The boys had a blast hunting eggs, jumping in the jump house, digging for treasures in the sand, riding bikes, and just being boys. Casey and I enjoyed visiting with adults for a bit and eating some delicious hamburgers and yummy desserts. After the egg hunt and dinner the dads slowly gathered around the outside tv for the game while the moms visited and played with the the little ones. Such an enjoyable evening. Great food, great friends, great evening! Thank you so much for the invite!

Are there any left? Paxson, Kate, and Parker are searching for the last few eggs.

This is Cooper. Isn't he just a doll!! He is the child that I have written about before that takes his hat off when we say our prayer.

The little ones had a little head start.

Parker and Paxson enjoyed riding the big boys bikes. Well Parker actually rode the bikes and Paxson attempted. Guess it's time to step on up from the trike.
